‘Saudi re-entry visa to be extended until Oct 30’

Minister for Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Imran Ahmed has said that the Saudi Arabia Embassy in Dhaka will extend the exit re-entry visa for expatriate workers on leave until October 30. For this, they have to pay Tk 6,500.

The Minister told this to media on Wednesday (October 14).

He said, “Visa validity for expatriate workers on leave is being extended until October 30. Even if the visa is extended for such a short period of time, all expatriates will not be able to go to Saudi Arabia due to the low number of flights. By doing this, the expatriates will face new problems.”

He further said, “We want to extend the visa for another month. In the meantime, talks have been held with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Talking to the concerned to increase the number of flights.”
