Bangladesh reports 21 new Covid-19 deaths, 1637 cases

At least 21 people died of coronavirus or Covid-19 infection in Bangladesh in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of deaths to 5,681 across the country so far.

Besides, 1,637 new cases were detected over the same period, taking the total number of infected cases to 3,90,206 across the country.

A total of 1,627 people have recovered from the virus infection over the same period, raising the total recoveries to 3,05,599.

A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the development on Monday (October 19).
