Resignation letters of two additional attorney generals accepted

President Md Abdul Hamid has accepted resignation letters of two additional attorney generals Murad Reza and Momtaz Uddin Fakir.

On the instructions of the President, Secretary of the Ministry of Law Md Golam Sarwar and solicitor Runa Nahid Akhtar issued a notification this connection on Sunday (October 18).

Solicitor office confirmed risingbd over accepting their resignation letters on Monday (October 18).

Earlier on October 11, the two additional attorney general submitted their resignation letters.

After the death of Mahbubey Alam on September 27, the post of Attorney General became vacant. On October 8, AM Amin Uddin, a senior Supreme Court lawyer and the current president of the Supreme Court Bar Association, was appointed as the new Attorney General. Two additional attorney generals submitted their resignations within three days of his appointment.
