Barrister Rafiq-ul Haque laid to rest in Banani

Renowned lawyer Barrister Rafique-ul-Haque was laid to eternal rest at the capital's Banani Graveyard on Saturday afternoon (October 24).

He was buried around 3:10pm beside his wife’s grave, Barrister Anik R Haque confirmed.

Earlier, the third namaz-e-janaza on the Supreme Court Bar Association premises around 2:10pm. Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain, Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim, Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujon, Dhaka South City Corporation mayor Fazle Nur Tapash and others joined the namaz-e-janaza.

Barrister Rafique-ul-Haque breathed his last on Saturday (October 24) morning at the Ad-din Hospital in the capital’s Moghbazar while undergoing treatment there.
