P K Haldar not returning home Sunday

Prashanta Kumar Halder alias P K Halder, director of International Leasing and Financial Services Ltd who is currently staying abroad after allegedly embezzling nearly Tk 3,600 crore, is not returning home on Sunday (October 25).

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) lawyer Khurshid Alam Khan on Saturday (October 24) told risingbd that Mahfuzur Rahman Milon, a lawyer for International Leasing and Financial Services Ltd, told him that P K Haldar is not coming home tomorrow due to his illness. PK Haldar confirmed the matter to the MD of International Leasing and Finance Services Ltd via email that was forwarded to me.

Mentionable, P K Haldar was supposed to return home by a flight of Emirates Airlines on Sunday (October 25) morning.

Earlier on October 21, the High Court (HC) allowed P K  Haldar to return home and directed the law enforcement agencies to arrest him from the airport.

At the same time, the court also directed to take steps so that P K Haldar could cooperate in the payment of money to the creditors from the custody of the law after returning home.
