‘No mask, no service’

The government has issued directives to all government and non-government offices not to provide services to people who would be found without wearing masks.
Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam said this at the Secretariat on Sunday (October 25).
Earlier, the cabinet meeting with the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in chair was held virtually. PM joined the meeting through video conference from her official residence Gonobhabon while other ministers from the Secretariat.
Cabinet Secretary said, “Masks must be used in any institution, hat-bazaar, shopping mall, social or religious conference. All the institutions- social or formal- we have, we have issued instructions everywhere to comply with ‘no mask, no service’.
He further said, “‘Divisional Commissioners have been instructed to put up large posters outside all public and private offices. No one can enter without a mask. The government will strictly monitor this matter.
