Gas cylinder blast in Kishoreganj: 4 in critical condition

The condition of four burn victims of Kishoreganj gas cylinder explosion is very critical. Physicians of Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute are trying their best for their recovery.

Samanta Lal Sen, coordinator of the hospital, told this to risingbd on Sunday (October 25) afternoon.

He said, “The condition of four patients among the Kishoreganj burn victims undergoing treatment here is very critical. Most of their body parts and trachea were burnt. They were kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). We are trying our best. A medical board has been formed for their treatment.”

According to Bulbul Chowdhury, risingbd’s DMCH Correspondent, eight burnt victims of Kishoreganj gas cylinder explosion were admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Institute. Of them, one was discharged from hospital after primary treatment. Among other seven, four are in critical condition.

Mentionable, a gas cylinder explosion occurred while cooking meals at a house in Mithamoin of Kishoreganj, leaving a person dead on the spot. Another died while undergoing treatment in the hospital on Sunday morning.
