ACC starts probe against premier leasing

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Thursday started an investigation against Premier Leasing on charge of amassing thousands of crore taka.

The watchdog will also start probing against Mercantile Bank Limited for irregularities in loan distribution.

A team led by ACC deputy director Ashrafun Nahar will conduct the investigation. Another member of the team is – deputy director Mohammad Shajahan Miraz.

ACC deputy director (public relations officer) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter.
