Circulations of two BCS to be issued amid coronavirus

Circulations of two more (42nd and 43rd) BCS examinations are going to be issued amid coronavirus epidemic. The 42nd BCS is special while the 43rd is general.
Some 2,000 doctors will be appointed through the 42nd special BCS while 1814 officers will be recruited in different cadres through 43rd BCS.
According to sources, on Monday (November 23), the Ministry of Public Administration sent the demand for 43rd General BCS to the PSC. The Ministry of Public Administration has sent demand for a total of 1,814 posts. Most of the cadres will be taken in the education. The number of posts here is 843. Besides, 300 will be appointed in administration, 100 in police, 25 in foreign cadres, 35 in audit, 19 in tax, 14 in customs, 20 in cooperatives, 65 in dental surgeons and 383 in other cadres.
PSC has finalised the process of recruitment of 2,000 doctors in the 42nd special BCS. According to PSC sources, the rules have to be amended to make appointments in special BCS. They have completed that process.
Meanwhile, PSC said it had called a special meeting on Wednesday. The date of publication of the circulations of the 42nd BCS will be finalised there. The PSC will discuss over the 43rd BCS next week.
