Giving security to info, finance a big challenge: Palak

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak said, “Ensuring security to information and finance of all citizens and state is a big challenge for the present world. Cyber Independence Response Team (CIRT) under the ICT division has been formed to ensure security. They are being given training to ensure security and protect data.”

He said this while speaking as the chief guest at an agreement signing ceremony on Monday (Nov 23). Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) and Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) signed the deal with Bangladesh Data Centre Company Limited. Palak joined the function virtually.

Managing Director Saidur Rahman on behalf of Bangladesh Data Centre Company Limited signed the agreement while Managing Director AKM Sajedur Rahman Khan on behalf of RAKUB and Chairman Md Sayeed Noor Alam on behalf of Rajuk.

Stressing the need for ensuring security to information and finance, Palak said, “The ICT division is working to make data scientist.”
