Covid-19: Bangladesh reports 39 deaths, 2156 new cases

At least 39 people died of coronavirus infection in the country in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of deaths to 6,487 across the country so far.

Besides, some 2,156 new cases were detected over the same period, taking the total number of infected cases to 4,54,146 across the country.

A total of 2,302 people made recovery from the virus infection over the same period, raising the total recoveries to 3,69,179.

A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the development on Wednesday (November 25).
