ACC approves chargesheet against Rupayan Group Chairman, 17 others

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has approved chargesheet against Rupayan Group Chairman Liakat Ali Khan alias Mukul and 17 others.
The allegation of design forgery of FR tower in Banani, Dhaka, has been mentioned in the chargesheet.
At the same time, 7 accused have been released and 5 new accused have been included in the chargesheet.
The chargesheet was approved by the ACC head office on Wednesday (November 25). ACC Director (Public Relations) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter.
Earlier on June 25, 2019, ACC deputy director Abu Bakar Siddique filed a case accusing 20 people. He was the investigating officer.
