Abdul Hannan Khan, chief coordinator of the investigation agency of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT), has passed away.
He breathed his last at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the capital around 12:45 pm on Sunday (November 29).
M Sanaul Haque, senior officer at the Tribunal, confirmed his death.
“Abdul Hannan got admitted to the CMH after being diagnosed with coronavirus or Covid-19 the day before (November 27). This morning, his physical condition deteriorated and died of brain stroke around 12:30 pm,” Haque said.
