4 members of car thieves gang put on remand

A court in Dhaka has remanded four suspected members of car thieves gang for one day over a case filed for vehicle steal and shop looting.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shahinur Rahman passed the order on Sunday (January 10).

The accused are - Siddiqur Rahman Nuru Mia, Hemayet Hossain alias Himu and Abul Bashar.

Earlier, Investigation Officer produced the accused before the court seeking seven days of remand.

On January 6, Lalbagh Division detective police arrested the four accused in a case filed with Mirpur Model police station.
