Date for book fair to be fixed today

A special meeting has been called today to discuss about the fixation of probable date for Amar Ekushey Book Fair.

The probable date for the book fair will be fixed in the meeting on Sunday (January 17).

Faisal Hasan, senior information officer of Ministry of Cultural Affairs, said a view exchange meeting regarding Amar Ekushey Book Fair-2021 would be held at 11:30 am today in Shaheed Munir Chowdhury seminar room of Bangla Academy. State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid will be present as the chief guest at the meeting.

According to Bangla Academy sources, the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, organizers and publishers have arranged the meeting. The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Cultural Affairs have advised them regarding the holding of this traditional event amid the Coronavirus situation. Today's meeting will discuss more clearly about what to do next.
