Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque said 300 centers will be set up in Dhaka to provide coronavirus vaccination service.

The minister said this while addressing a program title ‘Meet the reporters’ organized by Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) in the capital’s Segunbagicha on Monday (January 18).

He said, “Any medicine could have some side effects. Details about the side effect is written in the medicine. Sometimes, there would be no side effects too. Vaccines have side effects in different countries. Even, AstraZeneca vaccine has shown some side effects.”

“If any side effects found after taking coronavirus vaccine, then we will provide all kinds of treatment to the people,” he added.

Meanwhile, the minister expressed hope that Coronavirus vaccine will come to Bangladesh from India in January 25-26.

DRU president Mursalin Nomani and general secretary Mashiur Rahman Khan and others attended the program.
