Worker dies falling off Motijheel building

A construction worker died after falling from a seven-storey under-construction building in Motijheel Commercial area of Dhaka on Sunday (January 24).

The deceased was identified as Morshedur, 23, son of Ekramul Haque, hailed from Chamcari village of Bholahat upazila.

Confirming the matter, Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp in-charge Md Bacchu Mia said, the body was taken to the hospital morgue for autopsy.

The worker fell down while working on the 7th floor of the building in Gopibagh of Motijheel around 11:00am.
