Health Minister Zahid Maleque has said that the vaccination programme for coronavirus will start from February 7 across the country simultaneously. However, Prime Minister will inaugurate the programme on Wednesday (January 27) when 25 people will be vaccinated.

The minister said this after visiting Kurmitola General Hospital in the capital on Tuesday (January 26).

He said, “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the vaccination programme at 3:30 pm tomorrow. At this time, 25 people will be vaccinated for the coronavirus. PM will see vaccination to five people who will be vaccinated among doctors, nurses, health workers, journalists, police and the army.”

He further said, “Vaccination programme will start on February 7 across the country simultaneously. We will also be successful in vaccination as like controlling the coronavirus. In addition to Kurmitola, vaccinations will start in three or four hospitals.”

The Minister said, “No politics should be done over vaccines. The vaccine has been brought to save people’s lives. Those who spread negative propaganda about vaccines do not want the welfare of the country in any way. No one can be confused about the vaccine.”
