Palak takes Covid-19 vaccine

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak has received a shot of Covid-19 vaccine.
The junior minister received his shot at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in Dhaka at around 10:30am on Thursday.
He is the first member of parliament and top ministry official in the country to have received the vaccine jab.
Earlier, the program was inaugurated at BSMMU by vaccinating its Vice Chancellor Dr Kanak Kanti Barua.
The vaccination program kicked off on a trial basis in Bangladesh on Wednesday.
The much-awaited Covid-19 vaccination program also started at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), Kuwait Maitree Hospital and Mugdha General Hospital on Thursday morning.
