Gas outage to hit some areas in Dhaka today

Gas supply will remain suspended in some areas of the capital today (February 25) due to gas pipeline relocation work and consumer gas line connections.

This was confirmed in a press release issued from Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd.

The areas include Mogbazar Taltola Goli, Wahab road, Nayatola, Chairman Goli, Modhubag and adjacent areas, according to the press release. 

People of these areas will not get gas from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, the press release said.

Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd will work on pipeline relocation and reset consumer gas line connections in the above mentioned areas during this period.

Titas authorities apologized to the residents of those areas for the inconvenience.
