Bangladesh reports 410 new virus cases

Bangladesh recorded 410 new cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of infections to 544,954 across the country so far.

Besides, five fatalities were registered in the 24 hours, bringing the tally of recoveries to 494,755.

According to data released by the government, some 957 people made recovery from the deadly virus over the same period, bringing the total recoveries to 4,94,755.

The press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the development on Thursday (February 25).
