Gas outage to hit areas of Tongi Thursday

Gas outage will remain suspended in some areas of Tongi for nine hours on Thursday, due to maintenance works in supply line.

Titas Gas Transmission Company revealed the matter in a press release on Wednesday (March 3).

According to the press release, Duttapara, Bonmala and adjacent areas of Tongi will experience outage from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Thursday. Gas connection to residential, commercial and industrial institutions will remain suspended in these areas for nine hours. Additionally, low gas pressure problem can be seen its adjacent areas during the restoration work at pipelines. During the period, the authorities will fix problems of gas pipelines at Tongi-Joydevpur Rail line of Bonmala area.
