10 die on 364th day of detecting coronavirus in country

Ten people died of coronavirus on Friday (March 5), the 364th day of detecting the deadly virus in the country. With this, the number of death from Covid-19 climbed to 8,451 across the country so far.

Besides, 540 new cases of coronavirus were detected in the last 24 hours, raising the total infection in the country to 5,49,724.

A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the information on Saturday (March 6).

Meanwhile, 822 more people made recovery from the deadly virus at home and hospital, climbing the total number of recovered people to 5,01,966, the press statement said.

Mentionable, the first case of coronavirus was detected in the country on March 8, 2020.
