Covid-19: Bangladesh reports highest ever single-day deaths, infections

Bangladesh reported the highest ever single-day deaths and infections of coronavirus.

A total of 66 deaths of coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours, which is the highest ever single-day deaths of the virus so far, raising the total number of deaths to 9,38 4across the country. Earlier, 64 deaths were recorded on June 30 last year.

Besides, a total of 7,213 new cases of coronavirus over the same period, which is the highest ever single-day infections as well, raising the total number of infections to 6,51,652 across the country.

A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the development on Tuesday (April 06).
