Second dose vaccination begins in country

Administering the second dose of Covid-19 vaccination across the country started on Thursday morning.
Eligible people have been flocking to respective hospitals and vaccination centres since morning to get the second dose, sources said.
Those who received the first dose on February 7 and 8 are eligible for the second dose today.
According to sources, the first dose vaccination is also being given at the same time. Therefore, for the first dose of vaccine, people have to register online and can get vaccinated at the designated center on the scheduled day.
Rezaul Karim Lotas, a journalist of the Daily Sun, took the second dose from Kurmitola General Hospital in Dhaka. He said he did not face any problem yet.
State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury received the second dose from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) around 10.30am.
