`Shishu Bokta` Rafiqul lands in Kashimpur jail

Rafiqul Islam Madani, popularly known as "Shishu Bokta", has been sent to jail in a digital security case on charges making anti-state statements and instigating violence.

He was taken to Kashimpur central jail-2 from Gazipur district jail around 9:00am.

Gazipur district jail super Bazlur Rashid Akhand and Kashimpur Central-2 Jailer Abu Sayem confirmed this noon.

Earlier on April 8, RAB filed a case with Gazipur’s Gacha police station under digital security act. Later, another case was also filed with Motijheel police station.

On April 7, RAB arrested Madani on the charges of making anti-state statements and for instigating unrest. He was arrested from his home in Netrokona.
