Vaccine of China’s gift set to arrive on May 12

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Li Jiming said five lakh doses of Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine as a gift from the Chinese government will arrive in Bangladesh on May 12.

He made the disclosure while speaking at a virtual programme held with the members of Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB) over Bangladesh-China cooperation during the coronavirus pandemic on Monday (May 10).

The Chinese Ambassador said, “Five lakh doses of Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine will come in Bangladesh from China on May 12. China has distributed 200 million Covid-19 vaccines to 80 countries across the world which proves that the country is leading in the world in providing vaccines.”
