Prayers offered seeking liberation from corona at Eid jamaat

The first Eid congregation was held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 7:00am on Friday (May 14) amid tight security.

Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Senior Pesh Imam Hafez Muhammad Mizanur Rahman administrated the prayers.

After the end of Eid jamaat, a special prayer was held seeking the liberation from the Coronavirus pandemic and prayer was also offered seeking the protection of the country, nation and Muslim Ummah, especially the exploited Muslims of the world, including China’s Uyghurs and Palestinians. The Akheri Munajat is offered seeking the happiness, peace and prosperity of the country and the nation.

Thousands of Muslim devotees attended the congregation at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.

Additional security was beefed up in and around Baitul Mukarram National Mosque area on the occasion of Eid jamaat.

However, Eid-ul-Fitr, the largest religious festival of Muslims, is being celebrated today, Friday (May 14) amid religious fervor and enthusiasm after a long month of fasting.
