Journalists boycott health ministry’s press conference

Journalists have boycotted a press conference of the Health Ministry in protest against the arrest and harassment of Prothom Alo’s Senior Correspondent Rozina Islam.

The press conference was scheduled at 11.00 am Tuesday, but journalists did not attend it.

General Secretary of Bangladesh Secretariat Reporters’ Forum (BSRF) Shamim Ahmed announced this. Other executive members were also present there.

BSRF also sent a press release to media outlets on Tuesday.
