Bangladesh reports 22 Covid-19 deaths in 24 hrs

Bangladesh reported 22 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, raising the toll to 12,480 across the country.

Besides, some 1, 292 new cases were detected over the same period, raising the total number of infected cases to 7,94,985 across the country so far.

A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the development on Thursday (May 27).

A total of 1,291 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 7,35,157 the release said.
