Bangladesh reports 36 more Covid-19 deaths, 2537 new cases

Bangladesh reported 36 more deaths from coronavirus (Covid-19) in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on June 7, raising the total number of deaths to 12,949 across the country.

Besides, some 2,537 new cases were detected over the same period, raising the total number of infected cases to 8,17,819 across the country so far.

A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the development on Wednesday (June 09).

A total of 2,267 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 7,57,559, the release said.
