Bangladesh reports 40 more Covid-19 deaths, 2576 new cases

Bangladesh reported 40 more deaths from coronavirus (Covid-19) in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of deaths to 12,989 across the country.

Besides, some 2,576 new cases were detected over the same period, raising the total number of infected cases to 8,20,395 across the country so far.

A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the development on Thursday (June 10).

A total of 2,062 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 7,59,621 the release said.
