6 lakh doses of Chinese vaccine to reach Dhaka this afternoon

The government of the People’s Republic of China is offering six lakh doses of Covid-19 vaccine made by Chinese Sinofarm in the second phase to Bangladesh as gifts in order to help the country contain the spread of the virus disease.
The six lakh doses of Covid-19 vaccine will arrive in Bangladesh around 5:30pm on Sunday (June 13).
Two aircraft (C-130J) of Bangladesh Air Force left Dhaka for China on Saturday (June 12) night to bring the vaccine shots.
Deputy Chief of Mission at the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka Hualong Yan confirmed the information.
The two aircraft carrying the vaccine shots have already left China for Dhaka.
China is delivering this second consignment of Covid-19 vaccines as gifts to Bangladesh.
On May 12, Bangladesh received a gift of five lakh Sinopharm doses from China.
