What Nasir says over Pori Moni’s complain

Film actress Pori Moni has raised an allegation of rape and attempt to murder against Dhaka Boat Club executive member Nasir Uddin Mahmud.

However, denying the allegations, Nasir said that Pori Moni and her friend tried to take a bottle of liquor from the club counter forcibly, but they were handed over to the security guards.

He told this to the reporters before getting on the police van after his arrest in a case filed by Pori Moni on Monday (June 14).

Claiming his innocence, Nasir Uddin Mahmud said, “When I left the club on Wednesday (June 9) night, Pori Moni and her friend entered the club. They were drunk. The boy was uncontrolled. After entering the club, they tried to take a large and expensive bottle of liquor from the bar counter forcibly. Then I went to them and said, you cannot take our drinks. It is reserved for club members only. If you want to take alcohol, you have to take it against the account of any member. They club’s security guards were called who took them away.”

Joint Commissioner Harun-ur-Rashid of Detective Police (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), told risingbd that on tipped off, Nasir Uddin Mahmud, who was in hiding at a house of Road 12, Sector 1in Uttara was arrested on Monday (June 140 afternoon. There were four more with him at the time. The initial investigation revealed that the house was rented by a person named Omi.
