Long-route buses start plying from tonight

Public transport will start services from Thursday (July 15) as the government has relaxed strict lockdown. But the long-route buses will start plying from tonight (Wednesday).
Visiting the capital’s Gabtoli bus terminal on Wednesday (July 14), it was seen that many bus counters are selling tickets. Transport workers are also cleaning counters.
President of Bangladesh Sarak Paribahan Malik Samity Khandaker Enayet Ullah said “Long-route buses will leave Dhaka from Wednesday night. All types of public transport will start services from tomorrow (Thursday).”
Counter Master of Sakura Paribahan Mohammad Habib said “Our buses will start plying from tonight. However, it has not been confirmed yet, our buses will get how many passengers. The owner will give instructions in this regard this afternoon”.
