The nation is going to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha festival tomorrow. Even amidst the coronavirus, people on Tuesday (July 20) were seen flocking to the Bus stations, launch ghats to go village home to celebrate Eid.

People are choosing various ways like private-cars, microbus, motorcycles and other public transports to leave the capital.

Like last time, Eid-ul-Azha is going to be celebrated in the upward situation of corona infection and death. The pressure of homebound people increased in all city streets. However, the health rules were seen violated. Most of the people were seen avoiding hygiene in Gabtoli Bus Terminal and other areas.

Basically, those who are involved with private jobs or business, they are leaving Dhaka today. People are in joyous mood and heading towards home as the government eased lockdown restriction this time. As a result, the pressure of homebound people and additional transports have been increased everywhere.

Traffic sergeant Biswajit Bhattachargya said, the traffic has been heavy here since the morning. But, the pressure increased more after this noon.

The Gabtoli cattle market and additional transports are the main reasons behind traffic jam in the area, he added.
