The government is going to lower the age limit of registration for taking coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine to 18 years. Now 30-year-old people can also register to get the vaccine.
Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Prof Dr Abul Bashar Mohammad Khurshid Alam said this while visiting Mugda Hospital on Friday.
The government is thinking to set up several field hospitals in the capital. There is also an instruction to set up field hospitals in districts.
Earlier, Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque said that the government is thinking of lowering the age limit of registration for taking coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine to 18 years.
