250 ventilators arrive in Dhaka from USA today

A total of 250 portable ventilators, gifted by USA expatriate doctors, will arrive in Dhaka from USA today (Saturday).

Assistant Director of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Dr. Shariar Sajjad said a consignment of 250 portable ventilators will arrive in Dhaka around 8.30pm.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s personal physician Prof. Dr ABM Abdullah will receive the ventilators at Hazrat Shajalal International Airport.
