Former finance minister Muhith tests coronavirus positive

Former Finance Minister and Awami League Advisory Council member Abul Maal Abdul Muhith has tested positive for coronavirus. He is currently undergoing treatment at his home, according to family sources.
It was learned that he went out of Dhaka for refreshment after the Eid. After returning home, he has been feeling unwell physically for several days. He got positive report for coronavirus on Sunday (July 25).
His son Shahed Muhith also contracted with the coronavirus. However, their condition is currently stable.
Meanwhile, his younger brother ASA Muiz Sujan, also chairman of Palli Shishu Foundation and Delta Hospital Ltd, requested countrymen to pray for recovery of Abul Maal Abdul Muhith.
