Age limit to receive Covid-19 vaccine now 25 years

As part of the nationwide vaccination programme, the government has fixed the minimum age to receive Covid-19 vaccines at 25 years. As a result, now the people aged 25 years can register for receiving Covid-19 vaccine.
Line Director of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Dr Nazmul Islam said “We did not get any official letter but we have introduced it in the apps as a result Bangladeshi citizens, 25 years old and above, will be able to register for vaccine through Surokkha website”
Earlier on 19 July, the government cut the age limit short from 35 to 30 for vaccine registration.
