Joyjatra TV has no valid documents: RAB magistrate

Detained Helena Jahangir, the former member of Awami League sub-committee on women's affairs, does not have any valid documents for the IP TV.

RAB Executive Magistrate Nadir Shah said this on Friday morning.

He said the television can be switched off anytime if valid documents are not found.

Nadir Shah said “We conducted an operation at the TV office in Mirpur for about four hours till Friday morning. However, the authorities could not show any documents for the television. They have been warned verbally. If they do not show any documents, the television may be shut down”.

Earlier, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel detained Helena Jahangir at a drive at her Gulshan residence on Thursday night.
