Bangladesh logs 51 Covid deaths in 24 hrs

Bangladesh reported 51 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 27,109 across the country so far.

Besides, some 1,862 new cases were reported during the same period. With this, the total number of infections stood at 15,38,203 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Thursday (September 16).

Alongside, as many as 3,549 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 14,94,090, the release said.
