Bangladesh registers 38 Covid deaths in 24 hrs

Bangladesh reported 38 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 27,147 across the country so far.

Besides, some 1,907 new cases were reported during the same period. With this, the total number of infections stood at 15,40,110 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Friday (September 17).

Alongside, as many as 2,919 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 14,97,009, the release said.
