50 lakh more Sinopharm doses arrive in Dhaka

Another 50 lakh doses of the Sinopharm vaccine arrived in Dhaka from China in the early hours of Saturday (September 18).

A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 2.00 am with the vaccine consignment.

Md Maidul Islam Pradhan, information and public relations officer at the Health Ministry, confirmed the information around 11:45 am.

Earlier on September 10, around 54 lakh more doses of the Sinopharm vaccine arrived in Dhaka from China.
