Bangladesh logs 35 Covid deaths in 24 hrs

Bangladesh reported 35 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 27,182 across the country so far.

Besides, some 1,190 new cases were reported during the same period. With this, the total number of infections stood at 15,41,300 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Saturday (September 18).

Alongside, as many as 1,645 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 14,98,654, the release said.
