The government is mulling Covid-19 mass vaccination drive from October again.
Around two crore of doses will be given in each month. All kinds of preparations within next four-five days will be done in this regard, said Directorate General of Health Services.
The Director General of DGHS Prof Dr ABM Khurshid Alam confirmed the matter on Monday (September 20).
He said, the specific date of mass vaccination drive isn’t fixed yet. Educational institutions are opened now. We used the schools to vaccinate people. Now we have to consider alternative options to start vaccination drive again.
Earlier on Sunday (September 19), in a video message, DGHS director general said, ‘the government has enough vaccines. We have confirmed sources to get sufficient vaccine for the future.’
