Bangladesh logs 36 Covid deaths in 24 hrs

Bangladesh reported 36 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 27,313 across the country so far.

Besides, some 1,376 new cases were reported during the same period. With this, the total number of infections stood at 15,47,176 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Wednesday (September 22).

Alongside, as many as 1,427 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 15,06,136 the release said.
