Brig Gen Anisul Haque appointed as new IG Prisons

The government has appointed Brigadier General ASM Anisul Haque as the new Inspector General of Prisons.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard on Thursday (September 23).

Anisul Haque has been serving the Bangladesh University of Professionals as the faculty dean of Security and Strategic. He will replace incumbent IG Prisons Brig Gen Md Mominur Rahman Mamun.

The Ministry of Public Administration order says Brig Gen Md Mominur Rahman Mamun has been sent back to the army.
