Health Minister Zahid Maleque has said that the vaccination campaign to prevent the coronavirus is set to relaunch across the country from September 28. Those have yet not got vaccinated even after completing the registration for long days, will be given priority in the campaign.

The Minister made the statement in a virtual briefing over the country’s coronavirus situation and inoculation activities on Sunday (September 26).

Zahid Maleque said, “Those completed registrations long days ago, but have yet not received the vaccine, will get priority during the campaign. It’s right that a lot of registrations were made at the beginning which created complication. Some days 20 to 25 lakh people also made registrations. Now we have enough vaccine jabs. So, the complication will go away.”

“The production of vaccine locally is under process.  Private pharmaceutical ‘Incepta Pharma’ is working with a Chinese company on this. I know so far that their works continue. We hope they will fulfil their commitment how they made it. We will face no shortage of vaccine jabs. We will get enough doses of vaccines by December through purchase and Covax.
