Those responsible to Cumilla incident to be arrested soon: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that those are responsible to the incident of Cumilla Puja Mandap would be arrested soon.

He said this while talking to the reporters at the Secretariat on Sunday (October 17).

The Minister said, “Two to three suspects have already been arrested over the incident. Those occurred the incident would also be identified. I hope that those are responsible to the incident will be arrested soon.”

He said, “The incident was conducted to destroy the harmony. It has been intentionally fueled by someone. Exemplary punishment will be provided to those responsible to the incident.”

The minister also expressed sorrow over the deaths in Hajiganj and Noakhali in Chandpur.
